It incorporates a steel coil embedded in the polymer to provide high dimensional stability and excellent strength. The housing of this unit is made of a chemical and corrosion resistant composite material which is designed to withstand frequent washdowns. The non-porous surface resists the accumulation of bacteria-forming food particles and the light-grey colour makes visual inspection easy. These units are lubricated with food-grade grease.
