SIKAC..M Series Rod End Bearings:These rod end bearings comprise of sliding contact surfaces of steel against bronze. They are unsealed and although they are low maintenance they may require re-lubrication from time to time via the re lubrication point in the side of the head this will serve to extend it's life cycle. Operating temperatures are within -30deg C to +180 deg C. Left and Right hand threaded versions are available an L in the part number denotes the left hand option. These are metric sized rod end bearings. Application: Lower load carrying capacity compared to steel/steel rod ends, but more suitable for applications where lubricant starvation might occur. Benefits: Lower maintenance. |
